I have 8 tangs that are all different except 2 are hippos. The others are mimic, sailfin, yellow, whitetail, dussumerei and vlamingi. All 8 of them school together which is pretty cool. I also have 1 male anthias and 4 females, filefish, Niger trigger, 2 firefish, tomato clown, percula clown, 3 pajama cardinals, pseudochromis, 5 damsels, melanuras wrasse, orange diamond goby....probably forgetting a few. Give me some ideas on what else I should add? What are your plans for fish in this thing? Any groupings at all?
I have modified the skimmer so it is actually a sulfur denitrator now. It works great and is hidden by the rockwork so you don't notice it. The reason it is in the tank is because it is too tall to fit under it.Am I seeing correctly? Do you have a skimmer in your display tank? If so, why? and how is it working for you?
Thanks![]()
Haha. 150 isn't too shabby. Perhaps you can stop over one day and take a look at the monster.Very nice build neighbor. Over here in Seymour with my 150 gallon puddle compared to that monster.

When a 150 isn't big enough to be a sump/refuge for a tank it becomes shabby to me. My 150 feels shabby now. I need to go bigger.
its never big enough!!!!!!!!!!
The tank is great. Be sure you order the foam pad that goes between the tank and stand. It will provide support for the glass. Delivery was supposed to be curbside but the tank was too big for a lift gate so I had to pick it up at the Estes shipping warehouse in middletown. It was packaged in the crate very well. The seamless sumps work well. They are a good less expensive option. I don't use it on my 785 gallon reef but I do use one on my QT tank. I really like the overflow though.

Spines are a foot long!
IMO/E those are the most painful urchin spines...once in your skin, they are impossible to remove.
