Do you find the urchin moving your corals around at all with his spines?
And I like the skull too. Looks real.
 
We had snow here yesterday and the temp is holding at 74 degrees so I think the insulated curtain is working well

Anybody have any idea what these spots on my Dussumieri tang are? They just appeared over night. I haven't added anything to the tank recently.

Perhaps it was just a strange stress response. I've seen some pretty funky patterns on my foxface (for example) when it's stressed.

For flow, are you still just using an L-1 and Gyre? And is it providing enough movement? How are the SPS doing?

I have been using two of the larger model of the Gyre, the L1 return & a mag 9running through the chiller and returning to the tank. SPS are doing well. I had an issue with nitrates, but they are back down to about 5 after building and installing a sulfur denitrator. I have really good flow with the pumps at about 75%. If I go any higher the sand starts blowing around.

Do you get any bad smells from the Sulfur denitrator ? I have one but have not set it up yet , Pete

No, but it can smell bad if the reactor stops working and bacteria dies off. As long as there is constant flow it shouldn't smell

The tank is great. I have zero complaints and I highly recommend them. I would suggest selecting thicker glass than their minimum. It is worth extra $$ for the piece of mind.
