Are eightlines generally peaceful toward each other? Since I got them on Saturday I haven't seen any chasing and they hang out together most of the time. One is 2 3/8" and the other is 2 5/8" and so far both prefer flakes over pellet and likes frozen.

Mines not looking so hot today. Whatever this disease is its not responding to hypo. It still looks like ich to me but who knows. I lost the Potters last night, I ordered some quinine sulphate but I don't know if I have time or not. I'm gonna start raising the salinity back up slowly and hope for the best.

Good luck Brett. I also ordered quinine sulfate. My lights come on in 30 min for my QT so I'll check mine out. How long were yours in hypo before you started noticing problems?

Sorry to hear hypo is not working for you. from my personal experience witrh hypo you should see marked improvement after dropping sg to 1.009. The two times that it didn't work fishes were dying faster than I can react I had to resort to Cupramine. Even 0.05 didn't improve and had to raise to max of .08-.09 for 5 days then fishes seems back to normal. if its velvet fish will start to die fast and if it doesn't you stand a better chance of having time on your side.

Typically with flashers and or faries, females will co exist fine. A male and felmaes is fine, but get 2 males together, and you may see aggression, esp. if there are 1 or 2 females as well.

Best bet is 1 male and multiple females. They typicly are not 'pair forming' fish.
