Tomorrow makes 8 weeks solid that my reef has been fallow. I had a Velvet outbreak, lost 2 fish (black spot tang and a square spot anthias).
Immediately got the rest out and into QT and began treatment. The remaining 6 fish are healthy now and have not shown signs of infection for weeks now.
From my understanding, velvet (Oodinium) has a shorter life cycle, and I only needed to be fallow/treating for 6 weeks, but I went a full 8 weeks.
So I'm looking for opinions as to introducing the fish back into the system this weekend.
Thanks
