There is additional perimeter glass bracing under the top of the glass bracing. I'll try to take a few more pictures.

The top glass that you see is siliconed to the rest of the tank. It's probably possible to remove it and considering the dimensions (96"x36"x24") of the tank and the thickness (3/4") of the glass, it would be absolutely fine with out it any bracing at all.

This tank was built to be bulletproof and designed to be used with a large wavemaker. The entire tank is 3/4 glass; perimeter and crossbracing on the bottom; 3" perimeter bracing on the top front and back; 8" crossbracing on the sides for additional strength and to keep any possible splashing inside; 12" centered crossbrace; and an aluminum frame to add even more support.

Got it inside and it took 10 full grown men! I may even count as two being 6'8" 320 lbs. This tank is heavy!

I have no idea how I'm going to get the tank on the stand without smashing someones fingers. Any ideas?

Yeah I'm already at $200 of pizza and beer just to get it inside... cheap labor though! I might have to go for BBQ and beer to get it on the stand!

Does anyone have experience with a hydraulic lift stacker?

Thought of renting the hover ballon or two to raise the tank?

I have no idea what that is. Are you serious?

Yes I am. Here me out. I was in the hospital in the middle of last month and they had some form of this hover bubble under me so when they were transferring me from bed to MRI or catscan table they blew it up and pushed the thing over with me on it.

Off topic but were you in the marines?

Nope, never in the marines.
