8ft Reef Savvy Upgrade

Furniture movers sometimes use a bubble device like that. I believe there are shots somewhere here on RC-Large Tanks of someone installing a tank on its stand that way.

Other possibilities are getting a bunch of those suction disks for moving glass - still requires lots of hands (and backs). Or renting one of those tables used for moving and positioning sheet rock if you know the weight of the tank.

Once you get the tank up on the stand, sliding it into position is not as difficult.

Got it inside and it took 10 full grown men! I may even count as two being 6'8" 320 lbs. This tank is heavy!

I have no idea how I'm going to get the tank on the stand without smashing someones fingers. Any ideas?

The guy with the green shirt is thinking "What in the world did I get myself into here!"

Amazing tank. Can't wait to follow it.
I have been following your thread on how to light it, so what did you decide on?

I showed my wife and she asked if I thought this tank was as sexy as she is... She got mad at my answer! I couldn't lie to her.

The tank is gorgeous! This will be a fun one to watch...cant imagine the cost...did you get the new Ghost overflow?

It wasn't cheap but the pricing was comparable to other higher end tanks with similar options and materials. The build quality is well above anything else that I have seen.
