Hey guys I have Pico tank running right now that had a bunch of Lps but I didn't really like the cluttered look so I got rid of all of them. My tank is fully cycled and has a CUC and a very small Green Chromis. I instead want to setup the tank so that there is as much negative space as possible and one coral. I ordered a Cadlights 8g and have all of the following equipment on hand.
Kessil a150 sky blue
KZ amino acid
75w heater
Refractometer
Test kits for Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, PH, Phosphate, Kh, and Calcium.
Vortech Mp10
ATO System
I currently feed rods food to the chromis. So, with what I listed is there anything else I may need? I currently have about 3lbs of live rock and 5lbs of sand. For the 8g I plan to put all of the rock I have now (4 baseball sized pieces) into one of the back chambers and have one larger piece in display. Also plan to add another 10lbs of sand. Tank will only have a large 6" or larger tabling Acropora placed center of rock. Maybe a feather duster or coco worm in sand. I currently use mixed saltwater from the lfs with a salinity of 1.023. I did not check for anything else but they use Salinity salt.
Only other question is if I can have more than the one chromis inside the tank. I know they tend to fight. Thanks
