90 Gallon flow with LPS softies?

I have a standard 90 gallon tank and all I plan on keeping is LPS, softies and some zoos. I have a tunze 6025 and two maxi jet 900s right now.

I was going to add more, but didn't know if I should add a tunze 6045 or go with another 6025.

Have people had success putting these on a controller? Thanks

They are not recommended for wavemakers. You can switch them off and on but the delay should be at least 15 minutes. Frequent switching leads to noise, wear and the pumps will sometimes run backwards for periods of time. I would get a 6045.

I have two 6045's on my 90g peninsula, facing in opposite directions on opposite sides of the tank (pointing along each exposed long-face). I love the size, and they are totally silent, however there is little velocity at the opposite end of the tank. I think (as Roger and others have said) that the 6055's might be best for the 4' tanks, though with your additional powerheads you could get away with the 6045's.
