Well a funny thing happened to me in Dec of last year.

I was cleaning other 90 that had this setup in it and as I scraped the glass I saw the corner joint that bonds the glass together bead in the silicone move a bubble. Which meant it was flexing from the slight amount of pressure to clean the glass.

I stepped away from the tank and immediately yanked all the softies out of the tank you see in the photo and then next day transferred the SPS collection you see into it.

Why is this important? I am a metal halide guy. And this tank and it's make shift hood had just VHO's in it. But I had t5 parts from a tank rig I bought, so scavenged that and bought new bulbs. So it's running 2 blue vho's 2 day vho's and 2 T5 marine glow 18K (I know toy lights, but they were handy at petsmart) and 2 T5 actinicplus. The colors of a few of the corals are off from where they should be I suppose from the 18K marine glo's.

All of the SPS that you see have been grown from frags.

The big ORA nathans green millie is 5/6 years old and yes grown from a 1 1/2 inch piece. The Big yellow scroll coral (had it longer than I've known my wife) in the upper right I've had for 12 years (thanks Dave Burgman). The other SPS corals are frags from TOTM winner Menard in Chicago 3 years, C-Sea members swap from 4 to 5 years ago, and a few from Serpentman and Shadowsramy.

There is another 75 growout (now about to bust at the seams with SPS) this 90 growout in the photos and another 90's softy contents are very soon to be combined to fill a 180 that has been dry for 3 years.

Which I hope to light eventually with LED's, but I will in the interm refire up my Phoenix 250 DE's and and 2 VHO Super Actinics.
