I have a tunze 9002 nano skimmer. Unfortunately I have not found this skimmer to be consistent for the life I have owned the product. I am having two problems. Once I get the skimmer adjusted enough to produce enough skimmate it will decline over time. I know that is not from a water level problem because I use an osmolator to maintain my water level. However I am also having a problem with the pump. If the power goes off I have to completely remove the skimmer in order to remove the pump from water and mess with it in order to restart the pump. Do I need a replacement pump because its wore out or wasn’t up to snuff from the beginning. Or other parts?
