9006 or 9011?

The skimmer 9006 will work well for a SPS only tank heavily loaded (53 galons)?
Or is it necessary to put a more powerful as the 9011?
Let me know.

Is this gonna be in a sump with a water level of less than 9.5"? I ask as the 9006 does not come with the sump kit which includes standpipe and as a result the water level in the sump needs to be no less than 9.5". The 9010 becomes the better deal IMO if so as it is stronger and once you add the cabinet kit to the 9006 the price isnt far off

My sump has more that 9.5" tall. I will not need to use the cabinet kit.
The 9006 is strong enough to an aquarium of 235 liters very heavily stocked?

The manual and catalog suggest to lower the rating 70% for SPS with heavy fish load, so the 9006 is not enough, 9011 would be the best choice.

Hi Roger,

What happens if you use Tunze 9006 instead of Tunze 9011 in cases where there is a lot of SPS and heavy fish load? For example, does Tunze 9006 become overwhelmed with skimmate production due to excess organics or does the opposite happen, i.e no or hardly any skimmate production?

Thanks
