9010/9005 comparison

Hi Rodger,
Looking at the Reefpack 500 for my 50g long, if I can figure out how to fit it and still use my 4ft. T-5 lights.

Reason being that the 505 is not stocked yet and a decent price for the 500. I liked my 9010 skimmer for its simplicity and its fool proof design. I assume the 9005, besides the smaller cup, has a smaller pump? Worried about its capability for the tank or even if I bump up to a standard 70g type.

We got our first 505 last week so they are starting to come in. The 9005 has a smaller pump and cup, I prefer the 9010 without a doubt, it always performs well, the 9005 is sometimes a bit underpowered. Keep in mind all products had a 10% price cut so the 505 may now be fairly competitive and they should start to be more available soon.
