I'm expecting delivery of a 9015 soon. I have a question regarding setup in a sump. I see reference to a max water line on the skimmer, presumably around 11 inches. What happens if the water temporarily exceeds that line. Inefficent skimming? Or potential damage to the skimmer?
The reason I ask is that when I shut off the main pump to the display (for feedings or maintenance of some kind) the water level in the sump rises 2 1/2 inches from the tank overflow. If I'm running 10 inches of water depth in the sump normally, it would rise to 12.5 inches with the pump off.
Is that going to a problem?
