9010 footprint

Does the space needed for a 9005 with in sump kit or 9010 change when put into a sump? I know the foot print is
4.9" x 4.4" x 16.8" but do you actually need more room then that when put into a sump?

You need a roughly 5 by 7 area to fit it in sump with the outlet pipe.
