9010 not making bubbles?

I've been messing with it for over an hour and I can't for the life of me get it to produce any bubbles at all? I've checked all venturi connections and all seem to be securely connected and not kinked. It's got a pretty forceful stream coming up but no a single bubble.

I'm sure I missed something completely obvious and I hope I'll figure it out tomorrow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated though!

Water level too high?

It's only 4-5 inches from the very bottom of the skimmer, I'm usin it as an in sump skimmer and have all the accessories. I even tested the venturi and it's not clogged (Made me feel like I was smoking "Low Tide" flavored hookah lol)

The venturi should be firmly attached to the base of the pump, the hose has a nipple on the end that should insert half way into the venturi. Water should exit the small hole in the back of the skimmer and the outlet pipe. Check all these things and let me know.
