9010 not producing

I replaced a Kent Nautilus TE which was not producing skimmate with a 9010, which is also not producing skimmate. When I open the air intake uo, I get too much water, but when I turn it down, the tube gets dirty, the lid gets green, and no skimmate is produced. It is a 155 gal tank, so should be getting more. Any ideas?

I followed the other post you made and the reponses. I agree with jnb, I would start with the screw open 3 full turns, wait a couple days (2-3) every day open it 1/4 turn more until you get the desired skimming, as you remove the screw you uncover a hole that allows air in, the hole diameter is completely covered by 4 screw turns, it takes a very small adjustment to have an effect. You need to give the skimmer time between adjustments.
