9010 to 9410

What if any difference would i see in replacing my 9010 skimmer with a 9410? I am happy with the 9010 but the 9410 looks interesting and i like to try new products. Thanks

AFAIK the biggest difference is the new pump which utilizes a needlewheel compared to the 9010 which is a venturi.

If you are already satisfied with the 9010 and it keeps your nutrients low I don't see any point in changing it for the 9410.

I agree with Beaviz. The 9410 is a needlewheel skimmer, the bubbles are smaller and their are more of them so it is definitely a bit stronger. But, if you have no issues with your current set up, no algae problems, etc. I wouldn't feel compelled to upgrade. The 9410 does not replace the 9010, it is just a new additional offering to complete the Master DOC range.

Ok thanks for the info. I will wait until i do my new setup and go with a larger Tunze skimmer. Thanks again
