Is the 9020 to large for a 120 mixed reef with 3 hand size fish one being a powder blue tang who is always hungry or ****ed. Also can the two pumps be operated separately Thanks in advance

Yes I do think it is big enough and the pumps are operated independently.

For all practical purposes a 9020 is 2 9015's running side by side, they can work independently. The foam extractors have to be used because the cups won't fit with the close spacing. of the joined skimmer bodies.
