90G OWNERS, Show me your STREAMS!

I'd like to start a thread to see how people using Streams are mounting them in their 90 gallon tanks. Full tank and corner pics would be great. Also if you are using Streams in a unique or "stealthy" way such as the deco rock to hide them from view. Please include model numbers too! THANK-YOU!

Looks great Bill. The streams don't look as intrusive as I thought they would in a 90. Keep em' coming people!

6000s

6000s

Thanks Bill.

Do you have them on a controller? I was considering one 6000 with a controller, and wondering if that would be too much flow. I ony have a couple stonies now and a lot of softies. Would like to get into more stonies tho.

Also, do they put out a lot of heat?

I run both on seperate single controllers. I will eventually get the multi controller but I run them both at the same time. One runs at 100% while the other runs for 30% switching every 3-5secs. They hardly put off any wattts so no heat issues;)

I run 2x6000 on a 7095 in my 90. Not too much flow imo and I have a 4" sandbed. I have a mix of corals.

Each 6000 puts out only 15W. That's about the same as a MJ1200 and yet it provides >4x the output.

Sorry, no photos yet. :)

What do you run yours on Diehl? 30/100? T

rying to figure out how spending this much money on tunze is really that much better than a couple of cheap powerheads.

Mine runs on the single controllers. They still put out 15watts. IMO they are alot better then PH's. if you want SPS you will never have enough flow with PH's. Plus with the 6000's you can upgrade them into a 6100 later. Once you see the flow it putsw out. You will be amazed:)
