9410 bad pump drive.

Hi Roger,

I sent u a PM I have a 9410 that the magnet assy is messed up it started making a racket last night it is clean and all parts appear to be in place yet the magnet has excessive wear.

8 months old or less...

The magnets cannot wear on their own, this happens from debris entering the pump, usually bits of coral sand, etc and this is not covered by warranty. I have not gotten to PM's yet but I will reply soon.

I agree I think some loose carbon got in there I had some floaters on the last carbon change that must have fit threw the strainer. I already ordered a whole new pump from Marine Depot this morning but would like to have a replacement mag drive for this one to keep as a spare.
