9410 Impeller problem? "pics included"

I was cleaning up my 9410 yesterday and was having a problem getting the impeller "Lined" back up. The magnet almost seems too small in diameter. When it goes in, it leans to the side and doesn't want to line up with the cover. I have to take a small pick through the top of the cover and pull the shaft to the center. Do I have the right impeller? Is this normal?

What you describe is normal, it can be tricky to line up, you can try wobbling the front housing a bit until they line up or using a wire or pick or small screwdriver to manipulate the shaft into the hole in the bearing. The impeller magnet is very strong and sticks to the side walls.
