My current 90gal rimless have been out of room for a while, I finally placed an order for a new tank couple of weeks ago. The tank should be ready soon, but I probably won't have time to set it up until sometime in July. I can't wait to get it up and running.

Here's the list of equipment that I will be using for this build.

Tank and Stand:
185gal 60"long x 30"wide x 24"tall, Eurobraced, 3 sides Starphire, 1 Center Internal Oveflow. (Ordered from Rodney at My Exotic Fish)
Custom Metal Stand with Custom Light Rack and skinning
Custom 3/8" Cast Acrylic 36"x20"x16" Sump

Lighting:
48" Pacific Sun Metis CRP 3x100W LED Fixture with 4 types of CREE LED chips: Neutral White XP-G 5W, Cool White XP-G 5W, Royal Blue XP-E 3W, Blue XP-E 3W.

Skimmer:
Plan on ordering a SWC 230 Cone Skimmer, but might use a SWC Mini S Cone that I have in another tank for now.

Return Pump:
ATB Flowstar 1500 Return Pump

Circulation
2x Vortech MP40W
2x Tunze 6105

Controller/Misc:
Neptune Apex w/2 EB8, PH and ORP probes.
American DJ Power Switch Box
Bubble Magus BM-T01 Doser for dosing Cal, Alk and Mag.
BRS Twin Carbon/GFO Reactor
Autotopoff.com Dual Switch ATO
Custom 20x12x16 glass tank to hold RO/DI for ATO
Tom's Aqualifter

Substrates:
Tropic Eden Reeflakes (Still waiting for Premium Aquatics to get some in)

Here's a couple of pictures the stand builder sent me. I hope to get the tank and stand deliver to me in mid July.

That's what my buddy said, looks like an excercise machine. But the light rack is adjustable up/down and back/forth, so its actually functional.

looks awesome, will be following this one for sure. who did your stand and sump? They are very well built from the looks of things.

Love the stand/light rack system, it's always a pain to figure a way to hang lights and have it look good too!
You will like your Metis CRP, I just got my Metis XM a few days ago and am pretty impressed. Two rows of LEDS and it can light my 24" depth easily.
Where did you end up ordering your Metis fixture from?

I bought my Metis CRP from Saltysupply, but I'm sending it back as the housing is bowed on onen side. Chris from Saltysupply has been very helpful throughout the whole process, but I will have to wait another 3 weeks to send it back first to get new replacement. I'm most likely going to order the Vertex Illumina 260 instead of waiting 3 more weeks.

96gts,
Sorry to hear about the damage on the light. Were you the gentlemen that they shipped all the hanging kits to and had you send them back? They sent me the wrong lamp and I had to ship it back, wait for the hanging kit before they shipped out the correct lamp. Chris from Salty Supply was helpful throughout the process but he told me that he was not going to carry the line any longer.
It's rough when it comes to shipping if the fixture gets much longer then the 34" one I had bought, my outer box looked like it was kicked around a bit by UPS.

Ya, I received all the hanging kits. Mine wasn't damaged in shipping and the box of the fixture is in perfect condition. It camed that way from factory, in my opinion that shouldn't have gone through QC .

The Vertex Illumina 260 is an impressive light and also has an impressive price tag, ouch!
Watch out for the brokerage fees since these lights also have no US retailers. Seems like any fully controllable LED fixtures except for Aqua Illuminations are not retailing in the US probably due to the Orbitec patent issue.

:sad2:I came back from work today and found the temp 100gal stock tank that's holding all my livestock all cloudy, sps mostly white skeleton. Look like might be a complete loss of on most corals. Found a couple of dead wrasses so far, have to remove all rocks and corals to try to catch whatever fish that's still alive into a 28gal nano cube. Going to be a long night.

Oh no man. So sorry to hear. What's the culprit!? I have all my livestock in temp holding too and am terrified to come home to that. Really sorry to hear about it.
