That looks like the type of light Gateway tried couple months ago over the small tank right as you walk in. It was pretty sweet. Where did you buy it?

Ecoray 60 light. Plans are somewhat in the air believe it or not I have 15-20 corals in my 6 gallon that are all under leds right now. I will prob just run an HOB filter for now and a tunze nano. I am thinking of doing a HOB refugium in the future.

I've seen that light in action and really liked it... pretty bright. This is gonna be a sweet setup.

The light does have great color and I have the option to run blue or white alone. It is equal to a 250 watt MH so Im not limited to any one type of coral. This will end up being a mixed reef, as of now I am having luck with acans so I expect more of those, I also want a clam and some plating montipora. I'm not gonna go carzy as I will be dosing a liquid calcium, but I expect this tank to be wall to wall when I'm done. As far as rock work I have a few ideas from cubes I have seen online but until I start the aquascaping you never know. I get rock tonight so I should have some new pics.

I am way over due for an angler I have 2 angler tattoos now and my screen name but no fish. I need to work on that.

Thanks Mike, once a salty always salty. It runs in my blood I can't deny who I am. Jason as far as the HOB it has no filter just a bio wheel right now, that is where I will keep my carbon and my phosban. You just watch mister I will have you watching in awe by the time im done with this tank.

How did you hang the light?

I screwed a 2x2 to the stand at the bottom and middle then used a plant hanger to suspend it over the tank. Nothing fancy but it works for now, I got a few flasher wrasses today so its shaping up.
