A. chrysogaster perhaps?

griseum

Just purchased a few clowns, a trio, which eventually be a pair and a solo. They came in from Africa. I have not confirmed them to be A. Chrysogaster yet but i do believe from what i have seen and read myself, that 'gaster is the correct ID.

Are these fish as rare as they were 2-4 years ago?
I do know there is and was concern about wild populations. Hence my breeding project.

I will post pics as soon as they settle in and i dry off.

What does a true 'gaster usually retail for? and a pair?

heres pics but the water was still cloudy from siphoning the sand in the qt.

Better pics and video to follow.

Allardi

Recently alot of allardi were imported and labeled wrong. Yellow belly mauritius clowns

Gasters only come from mauritius, most times allardis are mislabeled as gasters and they dont look alike.

Gasters have a round tail. not forked

Ill post a pic of mine in two min

Pairs of gaster can do from 500 - 1600. Depending on who you get them from.

Hopefully Marina p. will chime in. She has some gasters and they are sweet looking.
Lets all send her some mental signals to chime in.
