i used flash because i wanted clarity. a tripod was out of the question because i was doint underwater shots with a housing. this is on my canon powershot s50. its a 3 year old camera but has better photo quality than most point and shoot cameras today. AF does not work well in low light, so it was all manual focus.

i am practicing underwater shots for my vacation that i leave for sunday morning 2:00 AM. i'll hopefully find something decent to photograph out there. (not sure if there's any reefs in costa rica). any tips for underwater shooting? what do you think of my shots?
thanks,
abe
