A couple phyto questions

Hello,

I just started my phyto bubbling this morning and I have a couple questions. I am currently using a 2 liter soda bottle. Should I add 5 ml of fertilizer right at the beginning or should I space it out evenly over a couple days. Also, is it absolutely essential that the rigid tubing reaches the bottom? Mine is about 2 inches short right now.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: I added 3.75 ml of fertilizer today and am planning to add another 1.25 ml in 2 days. I just read melev's article on phyto growing and it said that I should probably add it all on the day I start. Reactions?

For batch culture is it best to add the required dose of fertilzer at the start and harvest when the density peaks. The air tubing being 2 inches off the bottom is fine.
