Very nice tank! I think that the way you do you dosing is fine if it works! I find the more I keep my tank going the more I know how to handle it as a specific case.

I do not know if I would like my tank to look like that again. It now looks like a chain saw came through. I would like to think my new set up will be even more interesting to me. More acros less monti caps, milli and general junk. It has been reset up for 4 months. A lot of the large colonies were taken to a local pet store and exchanged for super small ora frags.

I'm having some heat issues with my tank and was thinking of taking the protien skimmer off line for part of the day. How many hours per day are you running your skimmer?

I seem to run my skimmer much different than most reefers, I run it now on a timer 6 hrs a day. I really think there is a lot of good stuff removed with skimmers. I must say that I have a extremely efficient skimmer possibly too efficient. Bubble king 300. I also really think my refugium is a real plus. Gfo, minimal carbon and a lot of water changes 10% a week, and really a lot of food.
