a crack inside the glass. not on either side. rite in the middle u cant feel crack

A crack is a crack even if you can't feel it, I would replace the pane or even better the whole tank. Talk to the manufacturer or the store were you purchased it if you feel it is a defect or is still under warranty.

It may pop at any second to be honest. I don't want to worry you but it's cracked now, reducing its strength drastically.

Get on replacing that bad boy!

A quick patch would be a pane of glass and some silicon, but I have never done that before.

Good Luck!

Size of tank? Size of crack? Location of crack? Cause of crack? Age of crack? Without those answers, then any advice is blind.

You also may want to consider the bumping your own post every few minutes will limit the answers you get, as people will assume by the post count, that others have already helped you.

I have a crack on my 115g glass tank, it occurred when I was cutting an overflow in it. goes from the top of the glass where I cut the overflow down a few inches, what I did was drill a tiny hole right at the bottom of the crack to try and prevent it from continuing, at the very least reduce the stress there, then silicone a glass "bandage" and slapped it on. Held fine for a few years now.

scary stuff...
I wouldn't risk my floors to a cracked tank.
I must suck at repairing glass as I've had this happen and tried to fix only to watch the cracks spread.
Never drilled a hole though, seems like a logical stress reducing action though.

Good luck.
