thank you,
i am still trying to figure out this camera so i can get better pics. everything is still a little blue. i also really need a macro lens, but they are super expensive, at least for my tastes.lol
id rather buy another vortech =)
Thanks.
Yes, the orange piece is a setosa. Poor little thing is still trying to adjust to the lights. It went from 450 par to almost 1200 in it's current spot so the photo period has been cut to 4 hours. I started with two an. Been moving it up a little each week. It's almost turning a neon pink now
Great looking tank. envious of all your stonies. try using a tripod and that should help with the focus of your photos. I've also heard it helps to turn your pumps off while shooting the photos.
LlI'll have to try that. Thanks for the advice. My main problem though is trying to get the color right. Always looks great while taking the pic, then looks really blue or has too much light when I load it on the computer. I'm using a canon rebel xt dslr with the stock lens. Has anyone tried the magnifying things you put on the end of the lens to get closer pics?
awsome tank how do u like bare bottom im on my way there vacuming a little sand off each week how did u switch over or did u start it that way
