A few of my new frags...

Over the last month or so I've acquired several new Zoa frags from various places. I finally had the wife bust out the DSLR and snap some decent pictures and I thought I'd share.

Right now they are all in my 29g tank. 4x 24w T5HO, but my plan is to move them over to a 10g to start the makings of my zoa garden. The 10g has a Marineland Reef Capable LED fixture.

Thanks. They have a ways to go before becoming a garden, but this should be a pretty decent start.

Hey guys and gals, been off the site for a bit. These frags I got from Coral Morphologic and Mr Coral. The first frag is called Blue eyed Zombies, the second is called Silver shots Lotus eaters, the third is called Pink brainwaves, the fourth I just call them Pinks, the fifth is called Pink panthers, the sixth is called Casino chips, the seventh is called incredible hulks, the eighth is called sweet blues, and the last frag was a free addition courtesy of Colin from Coral Morphologic - I didn't order it so I'm not sure what its called.

I am planning on giving them each their space to spread out, but some of these frags will have to share rocks, I just don't have enough space for them all to have their own rock. My goal is to have a 10g full of zoanthids.

I don't have a current FTS... But I'll work on that for you bro.

I like your frags. How did you mount them to your reef?

I haven't mounted them to anything yet, they are still on the frag discs. Once I'm happy with their progress and I'm confident in my rock-scaping I'll probably use epoxy to secure them to the live rock.

What are those in the top left corner of this pic?

That is a colony that I bought back in March. I bought them from a 10$ frag tank and they were brown and dull in color. I'm proud to say that they have come full circle and look great. They are actually very similar in appearance to the Casino chips - the frag in that same picture.

Missed this one - I ordered these all online. The Mr coral frags were 10bucks per frag, and the others (Blue eyed Zombies, Silver shots, and Pink Brainwaves) were from Coral Morphologic were between 15-25 bucks per frag but were much more substantial in size. Coral Morphologic is more WYSIWYG.

Thanks. Yes, I really like the Silver shots. They are large polyps too, like people eaters. I actually saw one polyp eat a pellet a while ago. Pretty sweet.
