Very nice!...I considered getting some at the last frag swap I went to, but they were still rather pricey...

Thanx guys. Fortunately I didn't have to break the bank too much with any of the ones I have. The ones I showed in the bag are large. 12 heads about 3 heads are the size of my thumb if not a lil larger. Guy was really nice threw in a red/green lobo. And the ones from roe are healing up nicely.

HOLY COW!!!!! Wowzers!! Gotta love them dendros, Anthony get a better pic of your new 12 head dendros. Lets see a pic of them on the sand.

Your getting two more you say..........:eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

I will show my collection dendros too ONCE I can borrow a digital camera from a friend.

Oh Anthony, the ones you got from Roes recently look really small. In the past, the ones I got from them were huuuuuuuuge! Maybe they are running out of the larger ones.

Yea roes are small about the size of an eraser...maybe a lil smaller. For $20 I guess that's not bad. I'll try and take pics tonight, they opened up really nice tho. I don't know the scientific name for any of them tho. And the white suncorals are growing well.

I had a beautiful sun coral--lots of heads--I used red slime remover for a cyano problem---wiped the coral out overnight--nothing else was affected in the tank?
any one had a similar experience.

capn hylinur, never had that happen to me, maybe the cyano released something that affected the sun corals??

Do you currently have sun corals or dendros in your tank? Qckwzrd take some feeding shots!

no I don't--waiting on some to come into the LFS--and to make sure all that Red Slime has worked its way out.

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!! :eek2: :eek2: Love the dends. I see more space on your sandbed for even more dends :D :D

I will overtake you in a while, don't you worry about that Anthony.......the master cannot be overtaken by the apprentice:lol:

They are very nice! But does anyone else thing corals sitting on the sand bed look, well, temporary, for lack of a better term?

lol@Mike I'm not done yet, still looking for more! Main reason I leave mine on the sand is because my fish knock everything down. I want to do a dendro, suncoral, rhyzo, balano tank with gsp on the sandbed. But that's easier said then done.

sdguy, dendros look kind of natural on the sand bed. Now having sps would look funky. Some of those barebottom tanks have a funny look with a ton of sps frags on the bottom of the tank.

Good luck Anthony........rhizo and balano cost a ton........don't let your wife find out about the cost. ahahha:D I'm doing the same thing your doing and going to have a good portion of my sandbed filled with dendrophyllia corals (sun, coccineas, balanos, rhizos, etc)
