After an expensive but FUN trip to ABC last week, I've got a few new corals to show off. And while I was snapping pics, I got a couple of growth shots too. Enjoy.

Cyphastrea growth: I've had it for about 2 months now and has totally covered the plug and has moved to the rock.


2 months worth of new growth, WOOHOO! I was afraid that this chalice would take FOREVER to grow out. I wouldn't call it a fast grower, but I see progress.


Tubs blues are doing well too. Went from 3-4 polyps 10+ Can't wait for those to really start spreading.

I was eyeballing that Platygyra brain at ABC in the lookdown. Your pic doesn't do the purple recesses justice. That thing is SICK! Good eye, and great pick up!

Oops. I guess to me I don't even associate ABC with anything other than the original. Sorry folks. How in the world do you end up with a second reef shop opening up in the same general area with the same name as an existing one anyway?... I guess that question belongs in a different post though, eh?
