Amazing tanks!!! I was lucky enough to see these in person. Looking forward to the next visit Tom!

Thanks all for your kind comments. I'll do some more pictures including an updated fts along the way.

Hey John, yep it's a red dragon, one of my favorites. . I got a very small frag about 6 months ago. I now have five . It grow fast and breaks easy . Took me a while to control my clumsy hands and put it places to avoid fish bumps. The one in the picture is a midsized one from the groupl

Thankyou folks.

RandyO. The goniopora in the first photo is one I bought from you about 6 mos ago. You got it as a trade in. It was pinkish. It's growing well and is now a nice metallic like red with some blue points. I love it.

You have so many nice things! I think if I could grow corals half as full and colorful as yours I might just quit for fear of back sliding :). The depth you are able to create with the different growth forms and colors is absolutely wonderful.

Thanks Adam.
Once I get to keeping everything healthy, I like to play with the artsy side of it . That's challenging since not all the animals I want to be neighbors play well together and then some fish, etc move stuff around. Sometimes a year or more of effort to get a coral to grow can be wiped out by a fall or a sting.

I'm always fretting about backsliding, testing ,observing, tweaking gently or making a small change in equipment or technique to make things easier. It's been a very good 5 plus year run . I want to stay in front of things.
When I was working I was a total quality type, both as a practitioner and consultant. . One of the keys to that management style is continuous improvement and seeking out opportunities for improvement. In other words celebrating problems you can identify and solve and thus improve . I used to say; there is no neutral;only forward and reverse. So, I keep pushing forward but slowly and very carefully to avoid backsliding.

Thanks again for your comments.

Crabs :(

Crabs :(

Recently I had noticed tissue recession on a few of my sps colonies. I tested my parameters and everything was in acceptable ranges. Then I started looking for AEFW but didn't see any. Then the other night after working a 14 hr shift came home and turned the lights on a there on one of my valida colonies was a little hairy red crab with blue eyes digging into my coral. I ended up killing it trying to get it out. The next day I found a other one. Killed him too. I checked this morning didn't see any. They decimated my garf bonsai and my acropra nana. Hopefully they will recover.. :(
