got a few questions so instead of putting up a few threads I'll just do one....
questions one-
My fuge is higher than my tank so it feeds my tank pods via gravity it has macro alge and so many pods it looks like the sand is moving like ants on the sand. i put phytoplanton in the tank but do i need to "feed" the fuge food for the pods? i broke a few peices of flake food up and within a few min the pods ate all of it. So do they need to be fed? how much and what type of food is best. I've had it running for 4 months and haven't fed it yet...just want to make them bigger.
question two-
Two days ago in my 30 gallon i noticed a white squiggly line on the side of the glass about 6-7 inch long a very tight patern. I had no clue what it was and i know you guys need pics probably and then yesterday I noticed one on the powerhead. I touched it and it is kinda slimy and hard. maybe fish eggs or some type of worm? but it has not moved and is still in both places. the tank has 2 damsels, a cromie, alge blenny and a foxface at the moment... also 5-7 snails and 4-5 BL hermit crabs. The foxface is leaving ASAP as i know this is to small for a foxface...see my post to sell him.
Question three-
Where can i buy PEmysis shrimp around here? The place i got it from was in SAC. I need the big frozen sheet. guessing mail order but i can't find it i checked the fish place, the doctor, ...i found salty critters has it but just looking for local.
