A few random Haddoni questions...

I have a couple random questions about s. haddoni that I'd like to post here. :)

I've heard a few people suggest the haddoni anemones are very picky about sand grain size. Is this the norm? I'm assuming they prefer a small sand grain, at least at the bottom, with some slightly larger grain sizes at the top layer, but nothing too large or rough in texture.

I'd like to add some anemone shrimp or anemone crabs to the tank, but I'd be concerned about the clownfish pair getting territorial and kicking them out. Do clownfish generally tolerate other shrimp, crabs, etc in their anemone host? I realize it will depend on the species and individual fish personality. I'm probably going with a pair of black and white occelaris.

Any time I've had a clown pair choose an anemone as its host, the shrimp/crab were quickly booted. I had a black occelaris pair for 2 years with an RBTA and anemone crab. One day the Occelaris decided to make the nem their home, crab was booted, hid among GSP for about a month then nowhere to be found...

So crush coral and large grain said is ok?

I keep haddonis in fine delicate sand so they can dig in easily. it makes it easier to dig in

I have heard that sand of medium to fine consistency is best. But I've seen Haddonis living out of a hole in a rock, so anything's possible.

I have an anemone crab in my Haddoni, and 2 Clarkii clowns that share a RBTA as well as the Haddoni. 3 months in, and they haven't booted him yet.

I had a pair of maroon clowns and an anemone crab in a green carpet anemone that lived together for over two years then one day the maroon clowns took off both the claws of the anemone crab. The claws grew back and they took them off again. Once the claws were gone the crab stayed with the anemone but was always underneath and rarely seen.

I have 2 percs and 1 nem crab for a while now in my haddoni. Everyone seems to get along, but it is a big nem:)
