tad bit of motion blur on this last one,tried to clear it up in CS2 but i like the shot regardless.

These shots were taken with a Canon xti with the Tamron 24-75 lens in RAW mode.

he/she is a very bright redish orange..... same color most of the juvee flames i've seen... to tell you the truth most of the adult flames i've seen at the LFS were of the same hue.

Thanks for sharing pictures with us.

btw--how big is your flameangels? All the sites I see are quoting from 1.25-2.5" and the ones I received 3 weeks ago ranged from 1.75-2.5".
 
Yes, according to LA site the max in the aquarium would be 4".

hes pretty, but seems very orange to me also.
Do you know where he came from?
IME, the Vanuatu Flames are BY FAR the prettiest, with the deepest bright red, and bright blue fin tips...
 
yeah i had my eye on a Very pretty sub adult potter pygmy but my G/F insisted she wanted the flame.....oh well ...lol
 
Thats what I love about the flame angel and coral beauty, there color variations make them all unique and make you feel like your is different then any you just see in a fish store,yours has that "babylike"cuteness.
