alright so i have a few questions about my sump that will be running tomorrow when i get my pump. first of all how high should i fill the sump how much water should there be in the return section and how do i figure out how much i need to put in for top off water? also how low should m overflow box be shold i keep it right under the water line in my display tank? how far below the waterline in my dt should the overflow box be.

fill the sump high enough to maximize the water volume, but not enough to overflow when you loose power.

Take a sharpie and mark on the outside the ideal water level, then keep it topped off at that level.

You adjust the overflow box by experementation. The hight of the system dependes on two things, how much flow you have and how high the box is.

also i have 2 koralia 750 in my 55 right now will i be able to take one of those out now that i am putting in a sump? the 2 koralias are already strong in there they blow the sand bed around in the middle of the tank so adding the sump wont that be to much?

the powerheads are in a closed system, they are there to provide flow for the tank. the sumps role is not to provide flow, but to hide equipment and house filtration devices. The flow from the sump really should not affect whats going on...
