A.G.E. Rimless Cube/2 Take 2

A fellow Houstonian, I live in Spring just outside of Houston. Great looking tank, GHL makes some super clean looking fans, but also quite pricy. Great work

Will have to see how those shallow tanks pan out, not a bad use of maximizing light for the coral. I love that light clamp on this cube

it looks like you built that stand yourself.
If so:
Did you use plywood or wooden boards to cover up the skeleton of the frame?
...And if you used plywood, how did you cover up the ply where the sides meet?

Stand looks awesome by the way. I like how you stained the inside of the stand and didn't paint it white like everyone else does.
The color is great also.

Update

Here is some updated pictures...... I have added 3 tangs from my previous tank (yes the sailfin has HLLE.... he is a rescue fish) a blue tang, and a pair of clowns. I also added about 5 more small rocks (about 16 pounds) to cover some more of the closed loop. I am going to order the new fan in the next week or so... so please ignore it for now. Let me know what you think........

I love the tank, stocking looks great. I was thinking is there a way to hide your ballast underneath the tank? I also kinda like the aquascaping around the middle "easier to clean" but think maybe two islands that reach up just a touch higher would be pretty sweet.

brad.... the ballast is now hidden.... I thought about doing 2 islands, but half of the rock i have is a single piece. Also I have to cover my closed loop. The peak of the rocks are about 2-3" under water. you have to remember that the tank is only 18" tall

lol I was thinking about the height as well with the aquascaping, you could always bust out the hammer and chisel, while at it drill some holes for frags :)

That tank should be very easy to clean via glass and sandbed
