For some reason I really like this one.

The best part is he did his little pose right by one of the overflows, so that black background is all natural, I didnt have to photoshop it in

Aye, that's one purty fish. And cooperative too!

Is the color pattern in the very bottom right part of its coloration or some sort of reflection / shimmer?

That is one of his fins, he has the same pattern on his top fin that you can just start seeing in the top right of the picture. It's basically black dots, surrounded by a brownish green which is all surrounded by a nice bright blue.

Interesting fish, for sure. He can change color fast too, going from nice and vibrant to almost totally pale in just a second or two.
