I was wondering if there is a list of which corals and clams and so on have a minimum amount of lighting for them to survive. I want to maybe pick up a couple zoas and try them out in my 55 gallon tank. I have a coralife system with actinics and 10000 watts white lights
thanks
Also anemones maybe someone can show me to a good thread

Hi,
There is a string called "First coral info" posted by Woogy further down the line. Someone was kind enough to provide a link to a site you might find helpful. The 10,000 on your lamps probably refers to the color temperature in degrees on the Kelvin scale. You should be able to find the wattage on the lamps. The wattage number will be followed by a W in most cases.Add the total wattage by the number of gallons in the tank. 4 to 6 watts per gallon should allow you to keep soft corals and some LPS corals. Let me know if you need help for identifying the wattage, there are rulles of thumb for length of the light and wattage.
