A little miffed

A couple weeks ago I ordered calibration fluid for my pinpoint ph meter and ordered eight 4.0 fluid and eight 10.0 fluid. What I didn't realize is that I needed 7.0 and then one of the others.

So last Sunday I submitted an order for some 7.0 solution. Moments after submitting I realized I only ordered one. Your website wouldn't allow me to change the order and I called and no one was working on Sunday. So 10 minutes after you open on Monday I was on the phone with a rep that said he would cancel my online order so I didn't have to pay $9 with shipping for just one packet of fluid and he would put in an order for ten 7.0 solutions.

I get home that day to an email that says my order couldn't be canceled and I have to pay for two shipments (not sure why, I called 10 minutes into your day, nothing had been done yet). Well that stinks, but not the end of the world. After all, it was my fault for only ordering one.

So my shipment comes in today, two boxes as expected. One containing one 7.0 solution and the other box that contains ten 4.0 solution.:mad2:

I already have a bunch of 4.0 and paid shipping twice. This is useless to me.

Why cannot my orders be modified or at a very minimum combined so I dont have to pay shipping twice? And the phone rep totally ordered the wrong solution for me. I know I asked for 7.0.

Our ordering system is fully automated, which means an order placed via phone or the web can be in our system packed and shipped in about 10 minutes. This is the reason why we are not able to modify orders. The system is streamlined to get orders out as quickly as possible to better serve your needs.

Yes, absolutely came in overnight and there were the exact 10 packets of what I needed.
