Who Rhett?? What a phompus, overblown.. doughnut eating.. HECK OF A GUY! Kidding there Rhett. He is a great guy. always offering to help and getting some deals for the folks around here. Probably one of the first folks ill call if I have an issue.

as for you icecap, the plug on the other end of mine is empty. the power connects thru the main plug with all the mess of wires. cant tell you what color as the connections on mine are taped up, but the 4 prong receptacle on the end with the fuse is not used on mine. If I remember right, it is for a controller or some sort. or to daisy chain two together.

ahhhh, got ya,in that case id have to see with you or another that has the same set up,as i count it...there are 16 wires and all 16 would be needed for the 4 bulb set up im gonna do,anyways,i need reflectors and bulbs for it before i can hook anything up lol

Yea, 16 wires for a 4 bulb setup like my vho's. there should be 3 additional wires in there for the hot, neg and ground. I hooked mine to an older cord with a plug on the end.

Yes, Rhett is, amongst others, one of the nicest and most helpful people I have met here. Even if he does eat alot of donuts while sitting in the median, he is still a pretty good guy.

One piece of advice I will give you nightfire, and it may not be a good one, is that you may want to ditch the bio wheel. I noticed nitrate problems when I had one on my 55 and once I put chaeto in my sump and started using a filter sock I never had a problem. That's just my two pennies. I saw it in your signature and thought I would mention it.

Im so proud to see such nice words said about me, lol. Id hate to see someone who didnt like me say something. Oh yeah as far as the doughnuts go I cant even remember the last time I ate one. Seriously though thanks for the kind words guys I do appreciate it. If we all help each other more and save money here in there from each other it always adds up. Look forward to seeing everyone at the swap and all of you know Im just a call away.

P.S. Nightfire is right me and electrical componets dont always get along, lol. I'll have to shed out a few bucks for someone else to do it or get someone to teach me more.

i'll be happy to do things like that for a fee of a frag or two or other live stock lol amerees, thanks for the advice,i have the biowheel only because i dont have the money for a sump, overflow box and a return pump and such

Nightfire I bet we can come up with you a sump. If anyone has a 20 gallon tank laying around for cheap snatch it up. You can go to Lowes and get three or four small pieces of glass cut and I have some silicone and you have a sump. Just make sure you let the silicone dry for atleast 48hrs. Oh yeah youd need a pump too but once again im sure you can find one around here pretty cheap.

I have a quiet one 3000 sitting in storage available. I'll let it go cheap for $25 with plenty of tubing and pluming pieces if you need.

I did a DIY overflow and bought the pump and sump from guys in the club. I think I spent $50 total. If you need ideas on DIY stuff to save you cash, ask around. It is one of the things that makes this hobby interesting and several people have different ways of doing the same thing.

i might be interested in that,as far as a 20 gallon sump, not too sure one would fit under my stand,i know a 10 gallon can,i also have a 13 gallon tall trash can under there i been using to mix up salt water in and was planing to buy a pump and tubing to run it from the can straight into my tank so i dont even have to pour buckets of it into my tank, just flip a switch and let the pump do the work, but if i go the sump way then that'll change somehow i suppose, though i'd like to keep the can in there being that we dont have much room in here,im gonna have to keep my ro/do system under our sink in our bathroom lol
