Just wanted to brag a bit.... I just received my first purchase of Tunze products (2-6100 Streams-half of a TS48 kit) and I am very impressed.
In SW Missouri there are very few people (I personally know none) that are passionate enough about this hobby to purchase this kind of equipment and there are no retailers within a few hours drive that would stock such an item. So, I have to base my purchase decisions on what I read in these forums (thanks RC.) I was considering waiting for the VorTech, but after careful consideration and some extensive Tunze research I decided to go with the Streams.
As of today I have the two 6100's, it will be four next week, the magnet holders and the 7095 controller. The pumps are providing better circulation and using significantly less energy than my 1hp pool pump and the controller has more features than I could have imagined; it is a must have for these pumps. Finally, the magnets holders defiantly make suction cups a thing of the past.
