A pic of my 75 g today 1 year details.

Wednesday I removed my T4 pump and replaced it with a another T4 . The new flow was noticably more. The old T4 was being used 1 year. I removed it to clean it, there was a good amount of calcium buildup in the pump area, took alot of time to get it like new. I will plan to do this every 6 mo to 1 year.

New clean T4 caused additional flow threw pump, causing a small amount of micro bubbles in my main tank, so i added more baffles to sump, and added some poly type filter material around the intake screener to the bulkhead in the sump, cleared things up.
4 new coral arriving wednesday

Very Nice!

I love the birdsnest, but I am holding off until I run across a nice bright one. I just havn't had a chance for a nice one yet, that appealed to the right one for me.

I can't wait until Wednesday to see the new stuff. I love the new stuff.

Oh. I did get this nice Green Humilis Acro this past weekend for a steal of a deal at 40 bucks. It even has a little orange acro crab in the middle that came with it to my suprise.

Don't you just love getting new stuff. I had to rearrange a little, but every time I get something new it adds more beauty to my tank.

Your tank is looking awsome, not to crowded with some beautiful placement of the corals.

I got three new corals today, 2 acros and 1 monti digi. Monti do great in my tank, I will see how the acros do , under just 440 wats vho. Here is a pic of the whole tank with the new corals in place and one close up of one of the acros.
I plan to get a calcium reactor next week.

Very nice Acro, it is nice with those blue tips. Don't you just love those little Acro Crabs.

That new dark brown Staghorn looks sweet in the back left there.

Thanks rj, That was the wrong pic to say about the little crab, the new coral witht he little crab is the acro on the left of tank up high.
At first I didnt like the Staghorn because it is brown, but now I like it alot , it looks real healthy ,polyps very open. I put that in when i put the pink bird nest in , the pink bird nest isnt doing so good, has some bleach areas where there is no tissue, I think it is partially from my Longnose butterfly, I had just posted a few weeks ago that she doesnt pick at the corals, that was before I got SPS corals, now she does.
Here is a closer up of the staghorn after 1 week in tank

That is a nice coral and your right it looks very healthy. That is one of the main reason's I got that one Acro I posted in here, it was very healthy with long polyps. I think it is sweet when you have a healthy SPS with polyps extended out all the way. Yours has some nice branches and it is placed in a great spot, becasue it compliments the tank where you placed it.

that tank is very awesome, mine will be there one day. even though my tank has been set up for a year, my budget hasn't allowed my tank to look like that yet :D

Here is closer pics of left and right side

This 2nd pic is the right side, I still have some changes I want to do here. The main one being the large rock at the front of the tank with mushrooms on it near the anenome and the rubble rock there, I really do not want any of that there, they are only there because the sea swirls blow the sand away from the front area , so i put the rocks there. The mushrooms do not like it there , they have faded , there is too much light there. I think I would like to find one thin flat rock that would fit there.
Anyone have any othere ideas for there?
Maybe a coral that likes light and current, but would be close to anenome.

I ahve this coral coming tomorow to replace the mushroom rock on the sand. Now I just need to find a place to place the mushrooms.

You may have answered this question but what type of camera are you using? Those are some amazing shots of an amazing tank!

Tony,

You may have already fielded this question, but....

What brand of VHO bulbs are you running and what type bulbs are they..... ie...... Aquasun.....50/50....... actinic? TIA

I might try the 50/50
I have 6 of the 46 1/2" URIs on my 75
3 actinic and 3 aquasun
The aquasun are more intense, but a tad on the pink side

Thanks for the information

Very nice set up you have. You're fish and you're tank look great. Did you introduce all the fish at the same time? (just wondering if the Naso was bossy)

Thanks Keith
