A question about moving soft corals?

use superglue the gel kind, pull the coral out of the water , dry it a little with some cloth, superglue it to the new rock wait like 30 seconds and put it back in the water its pretty easy.

What type of soft corals are you trying to move? Superglue can be tricky to near impossible with some soft corals.

+1

They will just slime/shed it off.

That won't kill it? And do you just pull it off the spot it's on?

They came with the tank and I haven't messed with them yet. I am rearranging everything in the morning and setting the rock up the way I want it and putting in sand. Some corals have grown on sides of rock that will be aiming down and I don't want to hurt anything.

Thanks for the reply.
:)

I was just trying to find that out. I really don't know. Some are flat and purple. The others would be to hard t describe. I will try to find out what they are and post it.

peel or cut them off with a razorblade, with the rock out of water place coral where you would like it get some plastic mesh like from a onion bag cut it to size and wrap around the rock not too tight but enough to hold coral in place use rubber band on sides of the bag and let it sit for a couple weeks the corals will atach to the rock on thier own.

Large sewing needle, monofilament fishing line. Thread the needle throught the critter before cutting . Snip below thread and and tie it to the desired spot on the rock/rubble. This eliminates problems associated with sliming. When attachment is complete snip the line and remove the stich. HTH
