Andrew, are you building a larger tank?!? Keep us informed, if you need someone to help you take care of your colonies while your tank's being moved, I'm sure a lot of us would be glad to "help out" haha :spin1:

Display Tank Finished
I had the opportunity to go and view the tank today (on my birthday... great present huh??). First impressions... :inlove:
Snapped a few pics of it and inspected the other items for the first time. Very happy so far!
I am impressed with the back ground. Worked out well.
The overflow is exactly how I wanted it. I plan on having a custom acrylic lid made to prevent light and nuisance algae growing down there.
A better picture of the background. Hopefully it will go with the blue cabinet
Everything will be delivered tomorrow... except the ATO container.
Rockscape Design
The live rock also arrived today and I had first pickings :spin1: After a couple of hours this is what we managed to come up with. Similar to my plans.
Overview
This was always going to be a challenge since the internal overflow affects the space available.
Hoping to create a nice illusion of depth between the island and main structure. Also will allow fishes to swim around the island and underneath the large overhangs.
Particularly happy with the island. The picture isn't that clear but more to come.

your tank is one of the best that's around and following your build journey has been a great learning curve to us all.
Wishing yu best of luck in ur future plans and hoping to welcome you back soon with a brand new build thread....I am sure which will be a much grander....right?
The way you had meticulously planned ur system is something I'm attempting to follow in my new build.
