A Reef in the Sky

Hello Andrew

tank is looking awesome!!!

I hope you are working in one of those great video of yours!:wavehand:
Thanks Crazy... Yes I am about to start!!

Andrew,

Apologies if you answered this in a previous post, but what T5 combo do you use?

Alex A.
Hi Alex... Reef noob has answered on my behalf below. Thanks

Great photos! But this tank can make any photo look good!!!

Earlier u posted you were raising the two part by 5ml, what are you dosing total now?
Thank you Acronic.

I dose the following daily, automatically done through the GHL controller.

Ca 40ml
Alk 70ml
Mg 0ml

Haven't tested these for nearly two weeks and suspect I may need to increase the ALK by 5ml and Ca by 10ml since the corals are growing more. Let you know the outcome next week.

Looking Beautiful Andrew!
Thanks man. Hope all is well with you... I arrive in NY on Saturday (tomorrow) just in time for some snow! Just a quick visit to stock up on my ESV Alk and Ca.

Just helping :)
I think it is :

ATI Blue +
ATI Actinic
ATI Blue +
ATI Blue Special
ATI Blue +
ATI Blue Special
ATI Purple
ATI Blue +

Right? :)
Thanks Noob!! That's correct

The shot showing the reflection is over the top. I've learned a ton reading this thread, both about the functions and the aesthetics. I get to Hong Kong once every year or two, I might try to arrange a visit if you're up for it. Just getting ready to get my next tank up and running, and have one more to go after that. There are so many things you can learn online but that many more you only learn once you see something in person.

This build and tank gave me the inspiration to have a similar looking master piece it's a great credit to you!

I have been having trouble keeping my gravel where it is suppose to be I was hoping to find out what settings you run in the profilux and what size gravel you are you using as I am running a profilux with 2x Tunze 6105's and a 6095

Thanks
Maury

I'm hoping not too much snow! LOL!
Yeah... fortunately it wasn't too much!!

Sure no worries and thank you for the kind words!!

Lovely tank. I love the rock work. Makes the tank look spacious.
Thank you. Yes, I'm much happier with the rock layout

Reef art at it's best - thanks for all the updates

Hi Maury and sorry for the delay. I use sand that is 3-4mm so it is fairly heavy. I have the Tunzes set from 50%-100% on random. Don't place them or point them too low to the gravel.
Simply Gorgeous!
Thank you

Beautiful build wish you could out some update pics
Thank you.. Ok, I will see what I can do :)

any updates? :)
A little... see below

This tank, as the previous version, continue to be my dream tank model.

Beautiful piece of art.

Congratz!!
Thank you Walter!!

Update

There was a cold spell last week so I had to get the heaters out!!
x1 100W
x2 25W
The tank temperature is usually between 26.5 - 27.0C but when I got home it was 22.2C!! The heaters did the job in raising the temperature

Purchased this a few weeks ago so I would be able to see the corals at the back of the tank.
