Dan, what pellets are you using in your superfeeder?
Are they small enough for little fish (small wrasses etc.), and are they large enough so they don't fall through the feeding grates on the superfeeder? TIA.

I am running three different sizes and I am not seeing any fall through the feeding grates.

Even if some did, I don't mind feeding a little more at this stage.

I just purchased the New Life International Spectrum Optima fish food for my automatic feeder.

Reef Monsters in Mesa AZ swears by this food. They say it really helps bring out the colors in the fish. Their website has some interesting videos about their product.

I checked out the New Life website. No one locally carries the product. If Reef Monsters has it, I will have my sister pick some up for me.

I copied your install and went with the velcro and tie downs for my superfeeder too. I am using a mix of Spectrum pellets (two sizes) and the Salifert pellets (which I really like). I am also going to mix/dust in some Coral Frenzy and Freeze dried cyclopeeze to feed the inverts.

I am real happy with it. I am debating about purchasing a 2nd Superfeeder for the other side of the tank and programing it to feed something else.

Yes, I purchased it at Reef Monsters. They are the only store I know of that carries it locally. Ask for Jorvell he is one of the owners.

Hey Steve.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

At the present time I am not dosing any of the Reef Nutrition Products. I was dosing Phyto Feast, Mysis Feast and Fuzzy-Phytes, each for 1-2 minutes per day. I did this for a couple of weeks and that's when I noticed that my tank was starting to cloud up and my Nitrates were getting high. I smelled each of the bottles and they had a pungent smell. It could have been the shipment I received...but the shelf life on this particular order did not last.

I decided that I am only going to dose these products when I am going to be out of town for a few days. As a matter of fact, I am going to pick up a bottle of Mysis Feast tomorrow for the long Thanksgiving Holiday.

Between the Mysis Feast and my Superfeeder, I will probably feed three times per day while I am away.

How about an update on cleaning a tank that deep...I am about to go down this road and was planning on stopping at 30" but I am SOOOOOOO tempted to go deeper....
