A solution?

So friday I was bestowed with a very nice fish from a friend: a coral beauty

It was nipping at his clam's mantle so he gave it up to me since I have no clams

Anyway right away I saw my yellow tang and kole tang start to chase him and whip him

I moved what rock I could and the tail whipping has stopped as a matter of fact my yellow tang could care less at this point

My kole tang is still chasing the poor thing when he tries and explore the tank no hitting just chasing

Will this stop?

Everyone behaves when there's food in the tank but when they're all swimming around if the kole sees the beauty he chases him... No damage on the beauty he's all intact

How big is the tank? As long as there's plenty of space to go around then it might just be a matter of time before the fish will tolerate each other. If you want to try and minimize the aggression though you could try putting a small mirror on one side of the tank. This might keep the Kole tang preoccupied for awhile. GL.

I've had a video of the tank playing on one side of the tank haha doesn't seem to help the mirror just ticks off the yellow tang and the sizline

My tank is a 90, with a 40g sump

It may stop as after rearanging the rock you took away the tangs territory but it may continue as tangs can be very territoral especially in that size tank. Just keep an eye on them and be ready to move the angel if needed.

You may try removeing the tangs for a couple weeks and let the angel establish a spot of it's own then put the tangs back in.

IME it will stop. My Kole attacks all new comers for a week or so, and then just a little harassment thereafter. She just attacked me through the glass but i'm not moving out

Seems like my kole runs the tank even though it's half the size of my yellow tang haha second place is my biggest chromis it's the boss of the the other chromis
