A very large aquarium in a very small condo!

Captain, congratulations, this is a very very beautiful result! How do you like the lighting you are using so far?

Please post updates as corals grow!

Since you have a very "occupying" job, do you have a "tank person" coming every day?

Congratulations again on a beautiful tank in a beautiful apartment with a beautiful view!

Classic pic or the LEds shining off the coffee table.

Nice setup...I can't imagine the time or money spent. Well thought and planned. I need to stop looking because my tank is never big enough...=)

I put that photo in here just for you!
A little about the lights;
WOW !!!!!!!!
I use 8 PR-156-Dim; Orphek said to use six.
I have every even coverage from back to front & side to side.
I'm running the lights at 75% max while I acclimating the new corals to the new lights.
I'm getting between 150 & 200 pur on the sand!
The upper tier of the rocks is maxing out at around 500 pur.
The corals are coloring up nicely.
There is one thing I hate about these light thou, the red LED are on the same channel as the blue, so in the evening when I dim the blues down to 20% for evening viewing I get an unnatural red hue.

Thanks; when it came to "Time & Money" It followed pretty closely to the norm. You take your estimate double it and add 50% and in most cases you are half way there!
About 6 years ago I walked into a pet store in Lima that had a 30 gallon tank and a pretty yellow scroll coral. I left the store with the tank & coral. The tank has has not stopped growing ever since. For the next expansion I will just put a piece of heavy glass where my front door is & just fill the apartment with water.

I believed it's just one aquarium, the other side is a mirror image from the mirror wall....but for sure a very nice set-up and hoping to see more updates in the future.

You are correct; in an effort to make the space feel larger than it is, the wall across from the aquarium is mirrored half way up. Even when you a seated with you back to the tank you can still see the tank. "œTwo tanks for the price of one"

Update;

The filter system has been finished.
I'm using two Tunze skimmers.
My ORP is ranging between 390 & 420 without the use of Ozone!

Added a few more coral
I'm using a lot of acro frags.
Having problems with the airline shipping my coral in baggage due to the water.
Apparently is OK to ship wine & spirits in glass bottles in a soft sided suitcase, but they have a problem with water incased in a water tight pelican case wrapped in two heavy duty 4mil plastic garbage bags and then tripled bagged coral or fish! :deadhorse:

Looking great Captain!

What type of Tang is that in the 4th picture, below the Achilles? It's not a Mustard Guttatus is it? She is absolutely beautiful!
